SI Capital Private Equity S.A., S.G.E.C.R. "SI Capital" is an independent regulated Spanish private equity Investment Management and advisory firm dedicated to environmental markets, in particular renewable energy and CleanTech.
SI Capital, was founded in 2004 by Eusebio Guell and Sebastian Waldburg, and has always focused exclusively on Renewable Energy & Clean Technologies (“CleanTech”). To date we have made six investments from our corporate drawdown fund, SI Capital R&S I, which has recently re-opened in response to good levels of investor interest and has provided sector focused advice through numerous mandates.

- Three Managing Shareholders (Spain, Germany, UK) have 16 years of PE and 23 years of Private & Investment Banking experience
- All 6 investments made on behalf of R&S I since March 2007 were derived from proprietary networks
- Clients are major industrial family offices and wealthy individuals
- R&S I was successfully re-opened in May 2011 and has welcomed a significant and high profile new investor group. R&S I will remain open to new shareholders in the near term
The company has two clear businesses
- Private equity and venture capital – primarily focused on renewable energy generation, energy efficiency, water- and waste management and mobility solutions
- The provision of advice related to environmental markets – covering valuation, project and corporate finance issues and M&A

- Established, long-term relationships throughout the sector with investors (HNWI & Family Offices, utilities etc.), value chain players (project developers, EPC etc.) and intermediaries Indeed all investments and a significant proportion of our current pipeline have arisen from these proprietary networks
SI Capital is currently seeking investment opportunities across Western and Central Europe from its head office in Barcelona or via its London office. We will analyse deals from early stage development platform investments, through growth capital, to construction equity. SI Capital will also co-invest with its clients and partners where appropriate.
