Invall Green Energy (September 2009)

SICPE and Invall Green Energy ("IGE"), a 45% owned joint venture with Invall, S.A. a Spanish consulting engineering company with particular competence in wind power, are coordinating and participating in the development, financing and construction of one of only two commercial scale wind farms in FYR Macedonia.

Installation of wind turbines totalling 100MW of capacity will start in the first half of 2012. The project is expected to supply approximately 4% of the total power production in Macedonia. The project represents a significant step for FYR Macedonia as it seeks to align itself with the renewable generation targets of the EU (Strategy 20-20-20).
